I believe i have on countless threads that using stock twins with 550injectors and a standalone is quite acheivable with proper tuning and not go beyond 17 or so psi? am i being misled? Or is these numbers just false and untrue?

Quote. "BPU" cars put down ~360-440rwhp depending on octane and other factors.

JDM has weaker ceramic turbos, a less aggressive intake camshaft and smaller 440cc injectors. You'll want to upgrade all three to try and get up 450hp. I know you can reach 400 easily but 450 might still be hard without upgraded twins or 100 octane.

Holy cow. I was looking for someone to dyno after this install. The last video was taking about 15 minutes from my house. I have drove by there thousands of times but never knew they could dyno. Thanks for that.. Know I have a possible go to place. If not, then I will be Nashville bound.

Another question. I have found several of these across the US, but with the auto tranny. How are these compared to the W58 or R154? I have heard mixed opinions. To the guys with this tranny, how do you like it, and if you could change it out to a manual, would you? Why?

Built auto will hold single digit passes so when done properly I say they are quite reliable at high hp levels.

I read that also, tried it and it wasn't long enough.

I realize how you could be confused given that both mounts look similar but the difference is quite obvious. SC400 mounts are taller and the bolt curves farther back to match the V-shape block compared to the SC300 mounts which are more straight to match the I-shape block.
Finlay able to see what they look like. Was unsure of the difference and was having a hard time figuring out if ebay was giving me the right part. Thanks for the thread pics.

Thanks for the Videos, Gets me Giddy thinking about the possibilities. If its too difficult to push 450 then 400 is quite responsive as shown by these vids. Im pretty sure I'll have a lot of fun on the highway.

it won't be efficient , i just ordered a 1400rwhp Intercooler 4.5" Core with 3"end tanks on it ( it was proven it hold 1400rwhp on Supras no problem) and keeps the intake temp down.
I didnt wanna keep upgrading so i decided to upgrade once for all.

Some of them comes premade for the SC it bolts right up, there is a Thread on here about interccoler install and how how the other guys routed their pipings.

ok so 550cc injectors and you will need a resistor box because the usdm 550cc are low impedance and jdm 440 are high impedance.
You can get a tT resistor box or just get on from a honda accord V6 or Acura legend since you will have 6 injectors.
Get a fuel bypass damper if you shooting for 400-450rwhp you can get it from DM.
Fuel pump get a denso pump it's quiet and reliable and will make over 500rwhp on pump gas.
Would it be too much to ask for a part list? This would be very helpful in keeping me on budget...

If your pocket is deep you can do an trd auto lSD install in the diff of your choice.
For HHP application with 6speed you can do 6 speed rear with trd lsd that's big $$ right there.

another option is the 3.62 from big daddy in FL.

i have stock 3.92 SC400 diff on my car last year with 500+rwhp with R154, 1,2 and 3 i have zero traction i only have traction on top of 3rd 4th and 5th.
You can't have fun w/o an lsd if the weather is under 80 degrees ;in 65deg weather the is scary to drive all over the place.
so if you have 400+ lsd is a must don't mess around or you will be on the news
Thanks for the Tip!! Looks like I will need the LSD any how...I'm confused about gear ratios and the tranny that comes with the 2jz...Is it better than the 5 speed A650E?? Somewhere on here I read that the 5 speed was weaker and could not stand up to 400+ I find this hard to believe.

were you able to see the difference? I have done engine swap not only on SC but on other lexus cars GS300/LS400 and MK4 and i learned alot about these cars.
the SC300 and SC400 are identical atleast the once i have seen, i used sC300 mounts on SC400, i used TT mounts on 98SC300, I used SC mounts on SC400.
The lexus mounts are fluid filled for the smoove ride i am guessing.
The MK4 Turbo or non Turbo uses the same mounts and 93-96 uses the long mounts the outter part of the mounts is aluminum i actually have that on my car but you need the shorter TT motor mount brackets .

97-98 Uses a newer version mounts they are shorter look like the SC mounts but are stiffer and the outter part is metal those will bolt right up to the SC300 or 400 mount brackets. So PNP is you wanna call it.

TRD mounts looks just like the 93-96 mounts but they stiffer and more expensive.

ebay intercooler works, it worked for me there is a guy on sf that made almost 1k rwhp on ebay fmic but he had some heat soak issue he then upgraded to ETS 6" Core, this guy had 3.4L in his Supra with ebay interccoler and he wasn't happy when his IaT when up?? what do you expect lol

Yes LSD is a must if you wanna enjoy your car while making some good power.
the 2jzgte comes with 6 speed if it's out of a Supra or 4 speed auto and Aristo is also 4 speed auto it would be nice if you can get you hand on auto Supra swap from japan. it's a matter of opinion sole like the 4 speed some don't i don't like boosted automatic cars that's just me haha.
