Towing Input needed!
So im close to pulling the trigger on selling my SC. The only thing stopping me is the fact that i dont know what would be the cheapest way to transport an original 5 speed 93 shell from burlington NY (6 hours approx) to here MD. I need CL's input!
Thanks in advanced!

Do what I did, get a truck, we used the family suv, and go rent an auto transport at uhaul. Should be a big truck with 4x4 or else uhaul might not lend you the auto transport. They charge $80 a for 24 hours but in order for it to be that cheap, you MUST pick it up and drop it off at the SAME uhaul. Meaning you must go all the way to NY with the autotransport.
I went to far PA from North Jersey with a transport to get my sc. Some people would prefer to go without a transport to their destination so theres no hassle, rent it there, and then return the auto transport in their city back home but uhaul does a $100 surcharge for dropping it off at a differwnt uhaul defeating the purpose of making it cheap.
Also, pleaseeee schedule a date to rent the transport so its guaranteed to be yours. I ended up waiting last minute and had to.go to 3 different uhauls because they didnt have transports available and had to go a state over to get mine LOL.

I spent $80 to borrow the transport with insurance which protects the car if something were to happen and about $80 for gas and tolls so $160. Since its futher for.you, I'd say about $250 max doing it yourself. I went there with a gas guzzler too.
I tried uploading a pic but it wont let me.
Hopefully you wont have to pay to borrow a car, if so.I.would just have it delivered.
