Good evening guys and gals. I am faced with the choice of continue working on my mitsubishi (1000hp +), or leave that project and work on my sc. Some back ground on the sc. The exterior of the car needs alot of work. the front seats are trash. But, I do have a good start in other places.

I would like your guys opinion. Stay or give up on it.

I found out that I can get my car painted at tech school for 750. It would have to remain the same color. I would also have to address a horrible wiring job on my Gte swap. Manual conversion is a must. I am going to break up with girlfriend and marry SSR sp3. Any suggestions would be great. Products, mods, etc.

Coming from the DSM world, it's amazing how much I put up with on a daily basis. Even though my lexus is older than my Talon was, it drives / handles / and the overall build quality isn't even comparable.

That being said the DSM's roll the **** out and are made for the dragstrip, the sc300 is a heavy platform and needs 600whp+ to get respectable.

Personally, I'd rather have a 1000 horsepower DSM than a beat up SC.

Is it possible for you to do both projects at the same time?

I agree with you on how much daily work goes into a DSM. But, I love the fact that i know that car inside and out. I want to work on my Sc. I just havent worked on them before. It will be a challenge.

I am not looking for 1000hp out my Sc. Maybe 700hp.

I have had my dsm for a number of years now. It has taken me to places that I didnt think that she would be able to. You can not really drive a high horsepower dsm on the streets.

I would have to stop working on the dsm for a while, and focus on the sc. I dont have the money to work on both.

I am trying to get my sc looking like one of these.

My thoughts exactly, keep the SC. You know your on a SC forum right? Just kidding. SC's are a money pit but the sound of boost and a V-8 keeps me smiling!

Is it awd? If it is then its no joke. Working on the SC is easy the only issue is finding used replacement parts. Where in fl are you located?
