Not too bad at all. Looking forward to seeing them on the SC. Personally, I think those rims would look better on a GS but it's ur car man--do what you want!

Default what happened

It's been almost a year. Did u ever get them on your sc? Pics? With so much drama sent back and forth on this thread, I thought it would at least culminate in a picture with them mounted. lol

Sorry guys, I kinda forgot I hadn't!

This is the only pic I took last year, but I'll get some fresh ones when I can

This is when I went camping, so the air suspension was in 'offroad mode' (Pumped up and very soft TEMS)

I'll get some pics of it in Low/Hard TEMS mode when I eventually get all my suspension legs aligned properly hehe

Wow cool bashin guys.....

op: I'm not a fan of stock rims but those do have a certain allure to them. If they came in bigger widths they wouldnt get flamed as much, I would think. Anywho updates?

Was that face palm for me? I was just pointing out what others stated.

I have never seen the rally car version of these before. awesome.

Usually airbags are stiff as f when they're fully inflated, and soft when ur vehicle is dropped. Its different I am guessing with the TEMS system? I have heard those cars handle amazing. What's ur experience? I dig those rims, but I wanna see it slammed bro.

More pics!

Hi mate thanks for the comment :-)

The airbags are pretty good on the Soarer UZZ31, but they are built for comfort, which means the ride is very soft.

I have installed an aftermarket suspension controller which can lower/heighten the car by about 7 or 8 inches. It also is able to put the TEMS (Shock absorbers) in 'Trackday mode'.
This makes the ride much stiffer and the power steering heavier.

So when I hit the 'Sport' setting on the controller, the car drops by 2 inches and the TEMS go stiff.
The handling is much better like this.

I can also pump the airbags right up and work underneath the car fairly easily.

I will put up some shots of the car slammed as soon as possible, but looks like I'll be trading in for a '96 Soarer soon :-)

Cheers

Andy

I agree with Mongoose on them, but they do look nice. Rims are like jewelry for your car, so you gotta go with what you like.

Me personally, I dig those five spokers.

Can't wait to see the soarer when you get it. You gonna swap those rims onto it? I love them. Keeping it classy.

The rims are beautiful. I agree that they are a bit modern for the SC and seem more appropriate for an IS or GS. Nonetheless, definitely an upgrade from stock SC wheels.

19 x 8 with 45 offset looks great on an SC. I don't think that you need some crazy offset or spacers for the wheels to like nice. Classy and understated. Good job!
