Interesting. It all depends on what your goals are with the car. Drag/Drift car, it's going to get banged and bruised anyway right? Street classy car...nice paint cherry Red looks good IMO. Matte Black, I would go a satin white metallic with clear or a satin ballon white...it will last longer, relatively easy to paint. It's definitely not your typical Lexus white...it's almost similiar to Lambo balloon white. Google it, and check out the pics.

If you're serious about a Matte paint job, try the forum search to get some examples and pictures.

For example I used advanced and put the keyword 'matte', selected the search in title option to narrow my results and pointed at the SC forum. Here are some examples back
