Default fender rolling on sc's

When people got their fenders rolled/rolled their own fenders. did they come out even with no waves?

I got my lips rolled to get some drop out of my car and there are waves in the fenders. the shop said they couldnt avoid this because of how the fenders are (front and back)... i paid $300 and theres still waves????....

is this true or should i go back and ask them to get redone fully?

I did mine myself and they have waves. It seems as if a full roll of the fenders will result in some waves and maybe even some paint cracks. Ish happens :/

You paid $300 bucks?! That is a ridiculous price!! Well for $300 it shouldn't be wavy at all. Go back and complain!

No they are lying to you!! I've seen many cars with rolled fenders and no waves. It all depends on the shop and who is doing the job, it just seems like they did crappy work.

There's a guy here in Cali that posted a How To that explains how to eliminate the waves/dimples. I'm having mine done by him when I get some cash flowing again. Do you know if the shop had done any prior Lexus?

Here's a link to the DIY and how to reduce it from happening.

i used a heat gun and a deadblow to hammer my front fenders flat and it looks stock from the outside. my sc's rears are shaved but I also rolled my tC's rear fenders and they came out looking completely stock using the roll-the-car-while-jamming-pole-into-fender method. idk, i wouldn't take it to a shop unless I needed a pull

When I had my fenders done, I didn't have any dimples/waves at first but they eventually popped up.

$300 is a lot to have your fenders rolled. My two front fenders were done for $30. Most shops generally don't charge over $150 for all fenders from what I've seen on the forums. Go back and have the shop redo them if it's possible. They should be perfect considering how much you paid.

i rolled mine using a fender roller and heat gun and I have slight dimples on the front fenders. Nothing wrong with the rears though.
