Thanks brad. You were the first one to actually see the car by pictures. I am glad you kept your word man. Thanks, it means a lot Brad. Yours is also coming together and looking nice too.
I will try and post some pictures of the dash painting tonight.

Holy crap that takes ***** to paint it all while it's in the car, lol. I''m curious, on SEM's sight I see everything but the GMC black you speak of. I would just hate to buy the wrong thing.

I bought the SEM paint from a local paint store. I can give them a call and order as many cans you like. Just let me know if I can help in anyway. Remember the gmc paint is for the leather surfaces NOT the plastic or vinyl.

Yes. That's right. Just take your time and prep/ sand pieces right. Then buy the adhesive promoter. Should last a long time. Due even sprays, nothing heavy just lght coats to achieve color darkness of coats. Hope this helps.

It did, thanks so much for taking the time to respond. Some of my older pieces such as the leather arm rest center console are pretty warn with little pieces of leather missing, so repainting them would look unsightly; I supposed there so tricks to filling in gashes are there? I'm still impressed you actually painted the pieces while they were in your car! Great job!

Thanks for the comments. The dash is the only piece I painted in the car. The rest was removex or taking apart. There is a filler for vinyl/ leather from sem. It works ok. You have to put it on ever so thin and light to fill the cracks, etc. Then heat it up and let dry. Then reapply until even. Then sand it smooth and even with the piece you are working with, then apply the adhesive promoter, then spray paint with light coats. Again it works ok. I wasn't to impressed with it. But it served its purpose. Good luck and post pictures. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks man. I am actually kinda glad you bumped this thread because I found out some good info. I was in the local O'reilys the day before yesterday and was just simply talking to the guy who always helped me. We got to talking about the Duplicolor paint somehow and he said, "Nothing holds up like SEM paint". I said I know because I have redid my whole interior. Come to find out they carry it NOW! We went behind the counter and there was SEM in Black Landau and several others. They can get it all. I thought I would pass it on to everyone who didn't know this.
