(NEW UPDATE):got the car today it is in pretty bad shape needs paint,headlights,the harness is not complete and the aero needs painting. other than that looks good interior is clean and came with a sweet mid flex pipe and a full 1uz swap,hid's and new mirrors.well the 1j has a 1j auto in it im using a na 2jz drive shaft and a sc400 diff. i was told that set up should work.

so i had to sacrifice the wheels and sell them for 350 with good tires, so i can get the car running. i needed a bunch of little stuff.hoping to get it done this week still need headlights!!!!

oh i will and thanks guys, i really need to get some headlights asap though do any of you know anyone selling stock headlights? need them asap i dont want to spend 150 on some ugly ebay headlights!!!

I would definitely suggest keeping an eye on craigslist and searching classifieds on other forums also.

P.S. I've recently changed from an E36 M3 due to several reoccurring problems and cost of maintenance, so that makes another BMW -> SC conversion. Got my dad's '99 SC300, which he'd had for a year and half or so and not done much with because he also had an LX470 and now has neither, but an old Porsche 944. Anyway, sorry for ranting/thread-jacking. I'll get back on topic by saying that eBay has also helped me out a lot, so if you put in the right search parameters, you should be good. Good luck!

thanks man yea i have tried searching forums/craigslist and all but i just cant seem to find them anywhere!! honestly starting to **** me off its all i need to have my car done besides some fluids and just putting everything together!!! and i loved the e36 it was in pretty bad condition from the previous owner and i did a lot of things to fix it and a good friend hooked me up and that's how i got it to look and run so good.1J's have been my dream motor for ever and i just want to do this car right so i can finally be happy with a daily driver/drifter once i go 5-speed and all that good stuff

so i just bought a driver side headlight on ebay for 65 with shipping now im waiting on a member on the forum to get back to me about the passenger side and the car will be very close to street legal i haven't been by the shop to take pics and i will soon

new update on the car, everything with the wiring is going slowly and i found out im missing my map sensor so now i need a 1j map sensor, other than that still only have one headlight and the car should be running by June first
