Good job on the cuts. This would be great for high speed runs.

There are lots of sports cars that have flat bottoms, I'm sure it'll be fine; heat rises anyways. It's flat bottom women you have to worry about.

Hey at least all the parts under there will stay clean and free from debris and dirt/salt kick up. Interesting idea. I kinda like it...

And you could easily clean it with a hose, No where else that salt could hide

Get underneith your car and touch your trans while it's been driven in stop/go traffic for an hour and see.

@0:17 it looks like mdf wood not abs plastic..... I hope that was for just a test fit, or else, well, watch the episode of top gear where they made a renault a racecar and see what happens when you use wood. I may be wrong, and probably/hopefully am, but it looks like MDF.

probably used the mdf as a template otherwise that ***** would be heavy as hell. salt/sand/etc would be able to collect around every suspension piece that moves because there is really no good way to seal around those areas. all in all i cant see you getting any increase in milage and it almost seems to me like it may cause some high speed lift issues. plus on an auto trans it seems like it could cause overheating and eventually failure

The owner of the car says this application was a trial & error deal,(test fitting templates) he claims that the material is very resilient & has been trouble free since the final installation. As for heat, There is a small space between the panel and the car for heat to dissipate. As an added precaution I would add a heat shield to the trouble spots.
