im tryin to get a dbl din myself, but in all the pics that i have seen nobody messes with the stock volume button? y not remove it since its useless?
Look at post #76 above and you will see that 88Supramki took it out and then did a fantastic patch and paint job.... Which is why I asked if that is the general case.
I will likely leave mine alone when (or if) I get one of the Pioneer units....
Well. Here's my 2 cents. I wanted a DD but wanted to finish my complete 2 tone interior redo so I bought one of the Chinese units on eBay with everything but the kitchen sink including NAV and I thought this I'd going to be a pos but I love it
Easy to operate. Does everything syncs to my phone hands free etc
Nav works great DVD world great n best part was 230.00 shipped to my door
It might not last 5 years but works for me. N my interior is done thank GOD
I just bought my car a few weeks ago and my Panasonic double din that came with the car is acting up. I've only gotten it to power on like 3-4 times and every time the music would play for a short time and then it would "reboot". I have no idea if it's a wiring/ground issue or if the unit itself is acting up. I'd much rather have a Pioneer unit, but I figure if I can get this one to work than it would be good enough for me.
