Hey guys,

I had a quick question. Is it possible for me to install a 2002 GS430 steering wheel on my 92 SC400? If so, would it be plug and play? what would I need to do if I have to do some stuff to get it to work?

What about an IS300 steering wheel? Or an ES300 Wheel? Or does it not matter from which car I get the steering wheel from?

Yes, you can swap it.

No, the airbags won't work right out of the box unless you purchas a single stage airbag or swap out the detonator.

This is for the first gen GS300 but it's basically the same write up.

As SCBounce mentioned, use the search tool a little more. These cars are almost 20 years old and every topic has been discussed. Good luck and post pictures once you're done. It's a really nice upgrade for the interior.

So would the IS300 Airbag work fine with the IS300 Steering wheel on my SC? I just have to get that adaptor? Then it would be plugnplay from there?
