Is there a way to reset srs light in a 97 without scan tool?
Somehow I set the light when I installed my cruise switch although the batt was unhooked for over an hour
I have no access to the Snap-on modis right now which is how I normally do this.

Either autozone or advance auto can check (and clear) your codes

No just cel only not srs lights but I found out that if I leave the batt disconected for about 10 mins it will re set so I am good to go now

Just for the record, the scanners they have at Autozone/Advanced/where ever will allow you to clear the airbag light. It doesn't have to be a CEL.

Ugh I work at at advance during the week part time and they for sure do not reset srs lights as it would be a HUGE liability for the company.

Dunno but we can reset cel and abs lights but of course not srs don't know about autozone but I would imagine it's more than likely the same policy as ours.
