If I did a tune up, changed the o2 sensors and rebuilt the engine-computer, will this improve fuel economy on a 92 SC400 ?

If i drive nice i get like 17-19 city, highway is usually a little over 20 if you dont press on it. and its a 93 sc400. But i mean it all depends on the driver how he drives because some people like to press on it a little (cant say i dont do that)

NO WAY an SC is getting 35MPG unless its on a rollback.

PS, Mine gets about 18 mixed. A little over 20 highway.

Lowered, some weight reduction, a GTE with a big turbo, free flowing exhaust, and a good tune. I could see it. Have to be a perfect storm of variables, but I could see it.

My 95 5 speed would get 32-33 mpg all highway so I could see this as being true.

yes like i saisd earlier sometimes my car really gets good mileage---other times no------not sure why --maybe o2 sensors acting up or just the circumstances

100 mile round trip with 95% of that being highway I get around 18MPG on a 150k mile GE motor. This is on a motor with new plugs, wires, d/cap and rotor, water pump and headgasket.

I do about 80 most of the way to work on the highway. I'm sure if I toned it down to 65-70 I could pump a couple more mpg out of her.

All in all, dont expect great gas mileage from a 300 OR 400. I bought a Civic DX for that, and I enjoy the 35+MPG I get in it
