You like the pedal feel meaning its the same as it was before you did the upgrade....like just as stiff? because if you do a search on LS400/Supra brake upgrade ALOT of people are reporting spongy pedal. I did a LS400 brakes on my wifes GS last year and i do too have a "meh not so great" pedal feel, it stops better but pedal feel isnt the same and i'm a mechanic with lots of experience. I just dont want to drop the cash on SC brakes and have crap pedal feel.

I had that same problem, but with another brand! I just cut the line and put a new fitting on... biggest PITA I've ever experienced with a car.

Brakes look great! And I didn't know the stock 16's would clear LS brakes (even with 15mm spacers). Good to know, thanks!

I picked up a set of Calipers. Rebuilt units from Advance Auto. With my commercial account discount and all the core parts I got credit for ended up paying $48.00 for the two calipers. I gotta pick up some rotors and pads and Ill be putting them on very soon.

One of my favorite upgrades.

(I think your rotors are installed backwards)

This is still on my to do list. My cheap @ss ebay rotors are warped after 10 months so I want to replace these ASAP.

I got the SC lines. I don't know, I think the company shipped me the wrong ones (the box is in no way marked), and when I e-mailed them they told me my car must be weird and have 12 mm lines instead of 10mm like all the other SCs...

Default LS400 BBK W/PICS reply

I did the LS400 BBK last summer and learned that the pedal did have a weird feeling at first, so i decided to keep bleeding the brakes at all 4 corners to see if it would change the feel. After the 4th time regardless if any line had air in it the weird feel completely went away and have been perfect ever since....so i believe the feel of the pedal is directly related to how well the system is bled...
