Does the car run fine at idle? Is your throttle cable too tight?

is it bogging down and dying? Are you sure the adjustments are correct and the clutch is engaging/disengaging properly?

sounds like crankwalk the extreme pressure plate is to heavy esp for a 1jz .. heres what you do get a friend to press the clutch for you while engine is running , you stay up front and keep a eye on your crank pulley and see if its moving in and out when he/she presses clutch.. if its moving in and out its moving past crank position sensor hence why it shuts off

I just hope it's not the crankwalk, it's not fun you will end up spending money on a new block and some others parts like oil pump, i will even replace the head because if you distroy the thrust washers it's done.
R154 and HD Single Clutch don't go together....
