Hey guys, ran into some problems and am now selling this manifold in the classifieds, turns out you can't use AEM v2 stand alone with an auto tranny so now i have to convert to manual fast. figured to make quick money for a new tranny I'd just sell this and make myself a new one later on.... I seriously hate to see it go but I really don't have money for a full R154 swap just laying around :/

did you weld or bolt to the lower runners? thats a really nice FFIM btw for doing it yourself.
you know you can install a TT auto to hold you over in the meantime, the aem can control a gte trans and they are available for cheap.

well I called AEM directly and asked their tech guy a couple questions about my harness and going from mapecu2 to AEM v2, and at the end of our conversation I said, and this will work with an auto tranny right? and he said no... he said that they havent tested it on the GE trannys and that most people who go AEM are trying to make big power anyway so if i wanted to use it I had to do a manual swap. He said that the one for the GTE works with auto but not the GE

Ali, That's a good idea, i'll have to look into that, but I do plan on going R154 anyway so I might as well get it out of the way instead of spending extra money

Just did more research and my best bet for AEM v2 is to go manual, it sucks that I'm in this bind, but I just dropped the price to 750 to hurry and get rid of it

picking up an R154 that needs a rebuild tomorrow, need the money to buy transmission parts.

anyway... just dropped the price to $500 shipped, asking what I got into it. I'd rather my car run then have a badass manifold at this point.
