Thats a real shame man.
I dont know what the company was thinking---some str8 chrome on chrome wheels would be flying off the shelf.
How much would a shop charge to chrome these wheels? Probably more than the wheels are worth .
What a shame

Chrome wheels, not my favorite.
Black chrome or chrome lips on black wheel? Yea, that's nice.

no im not too familiar with xxr wheels---although your right all the xxr wheels ive seen are ussually gold or black or some other color.
I just love all chrome wheels with a big deep lip------I would of really considered buying these if that was the case.

The gold/chrome color combo has been removed from XXR's web site. Guess they don't make it anymore.

Haven't bought them yet. And they won't be on the SC. They are going to replace my stock 350Z's rims, which are screwed up.

Actually these wheels (XXR 526s) come out THIS year, next month or this month I believe. Also, ANY wheel can break. I never understood why one set of wheels is 3k+

I have the famous XXR 962's for almost 3 yrs. First they were on my N/A Z then SC400, and now TTZ. They are still straight after DD'ing for 2 yrs in bad LA roads. I would buy them again with confidence. Not good for track use though since they're heavy but whatever... I only spent $600 for the set.

I just picked up a set of the 526 for the SC and they should be here this Fri/Sat. Set I bought were 18x9 et35 (2.75" lip) and 18x10.5 et20 (4.25" lip), but I'm a lil worried that the rear might rub with 275/35/18s on em. I got the high et. for the fronts since I wasn't sure they would clear the LS calipers and may need to space em out. Under $700 shipped is bloody cheap for a 18" set of wheels and I've seen guys running XXR wheels for years with no issues. I'll post up some pics once they come in.
