Default my sc400 1jz swap finally

In the efforts to keep my self from being long winded I'm going to try and make this short. About a year ago I grew tired off the lack of power from my 1uzfe even after I installed nitrous. so I spent a lot of time making friends with cl search bar and started looking into doing a 1jz swap on my sc400. I found that it's not a terribly difficult swap just take some time and money.
so first thing I found was that I was going to need new motor mounts and trans mounts as well as a drive shaft from a sc300 because of the difference in engines and the fact that the 1jzgte auto tranny uses a slip yoke. Yes before anyone ask I'm staying auto It's good enough for me. I started by ordering radiator hoses for a 2jz and a set of 2 10" 1500 slim fans because I would just prefer to do away with fitment of a shroud for the 1jz clutch fan and I never really cared for the sc400 hydralic fan (mine leaks) Then I order a drive shaft off eBay from a sc300 as well as a set of motor mounts and trans mounts from Megan. I’ve been told that I could have just order a engine dampener and it would have the same effect but I figured what the hell why not do it right the first time. so here pic of those parts

Now after I had order these parts I new it was time to nut up or shut up so I gathered a bunch of money over time and found a seller to buy my motor from. The company I found was this one here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jdm-t...item3a62731746
I then placed my order and waited for my motor to arrive and to my surprise it did. But with no lift gate even tough I paid for one. Thank goodness I had a 4000 pound cherry picker to get it off the trunk other wise I would have been screwed. After a quick email to the provider I had my money back for the lift gate and the igniter they forgot to provide. I must say for the companies sake they where very easy to work with no real problem other than the one's I just listed and the motor was in good shape.

And here it is as it came

No cut wiring except for the alternator a few crappy hose but nothing I can't handle. After a little cleaning and some work I manage to pull the turbo's off and check them for play and ware and to my surprise there still in good condition and have very little shaft play.

I then order and installed a new down pipe because that old y pipe is just plan ugly

I also began to polish some pipes and put it all back together

Well I guess it can't be avoided I’m going to be long winded. After all the turbo where installed I began checking vacuum line's and replacing clamps. I also order a ac delete belt from drift motion and started polishing the intake manifold.
For now I'm stuck well until next week when I get to order every thing else I need. I'm have this guy http://www.autosportwiring.commake me a patch harness to the length of 20" so I don't have to monkey around with wiring and only for $225.00 not to bad of a price. I guess that all I have till next week but the coming month should turn up more photo's of all my new shiny parts and a engine install

Yes but the twins will die faster , because there is no restriction.

Nice swap bro , keep the pics coming. you will need to jump one off the body plug from the power wires that goes to the kick panel.

I'm liking the patch harness deal and the price is damn good, still new to the game and this looks like the route I might go.

will be looking in from time to time, I might need to say that to myself......"nut up or shut up"

get the damn ball rolling on my build
