Arrow SC400 differential, What fits?

I have a 97 sc400 and I love to burn out and now my rear diff is done lol. I have seen people talk here and there bout differentials but i'm hoping to get a straight answer with a thread. What differentials fit the the sc400? What is the best way to go to get an LSD diff for the sc400? Has anyone tried a welded diff in the SC? people have told me its risky and not good for a daily driver.

I have heard these fit but im not 100% sure

LS400
*95-97 3.62 ratio.
*98+ 3.26 ratio

SC300
*92-97 SC300, AT (4.27 ratio) MT (4.08 ratio)
*98-00 SC300, AT (4.27 ratio)

MK4 diff -
Heard 93-96 is different from 97-98 but idk
*93-98 MKIV Supra w/turbo, 4-speed AT (3.76 ratio) LSD
*93-98 MKIV Supra w/o turbo, 5-speed MT (4.08 ratio) LSD
*93-98 MKIV Supra w/o turbo, 5-speed MT (4.27 ratio) LSD
*93-98 MKIV Supra w/o turbo, 4-speed AT (3.76 ratio) LSD

Heard early years of the GS400 and GS430 also fit

The 3.76 LSD in the MK4 is what looks the best to me but can someone tell me if it will work in the 97 SC400?

Now that I am forced to change it i want to go with a LSD and have a ratio below 4.** if possible. As you can tell I don't know much on this and have not found a clear answer anywhere so please give me whatever advice you can.
Also is there a differance between differentials that where in auto or manual cars? will one work and not the other? and same question for turbo and non turbo. If the MK4 differential works does it have to be the non turbo?
Thank you and I hope you guys can help me. P.S. dont break my ***** i'm just trying to get my car fixed and looking for help and advice.
If any info is wrong please tell me and correct for others. all of the info i found from other threads so i am trying to clarify.

Thanks =)

if i were you i would just buy a KAAZ and be done with it. not many diffs, if any?, are better than clutch type diffs and KAAZ is the best for them IMO. i had a 2 way in my s13 and it was amazing very DD able but locks up when you want it to.

oh yeah they whine a little bit also, but its a good whine, mine was tight

i loved my s13 compared to my sc400 because so much more was done to it lol

I havent done my swap yet, so I dont know whether the sc4s have the big or small differential, but it you do... here is everything you need to know. Since Im going 5spd, not 6, Im keeping our nice, middle of the road, 3.91

So long as you have your old diff, it doesn't matter if you have a big or small. You'll have to swap the companion flange between the diffs. It's easy stuff

Yeah, I went with a 2-way "Super-Q" Kaaz LSD, and so far I love it! Not only is it daily drivable, But it's super quiet as well....As if it were stock. And yeah, It locks up both wheels when you want it to.
