What is this warning light
While I was driving a warning light popped on. Its the orange indication at the top left above the temp gauge. Kind of looks like a radiator. At any rate I assumed it was coolant level alm and I topped off with some demin water at work. Of course it did not come back on and after I got home I tested the coolant level switch and it did not come on. I have been searching and searching but cant find anything. Its a 1993 SC400

Trust me I am trying. I am combing through the FSM, but cant find a page that has the specific symbols. What I need is an owners manual which did not come with the car when I got it. I am googling like crazy while waiting to see if one of you guys has seen this before.

Would appear to be the coolant level alarm. Did a search on carousel (thanks Emilio) and found a couple of other postings along the same line. ITs not on now so I am not going to worry. Not sure why it did not come on when I removed the connector. Oh well. Thanks guys.

This post made my day... thank you lol
we had a similar joke in supramania forum except the dude thought it looked like a cage so ours were about loosing your bird
in all seriousness though if you still have an owners manual it will be in there will a full list of what all the lights mean... on an even better note i know a guy who thought, for whatever reason, that the low coolant level light was the alternator light so... he changed his alt and couldnt figure out why the light was still on

Hahaha tough crowd tonight:
CORRECT ANSWER:
That is a warning light for coolant level. Your overflow bottle actually has a sensor in it for when it gets too low and it will trigger that light. When cold your overflow has to be right to the top or when your radiator pulls from it that sensor will trigger and display the light. Basically it's an idiot light for your coolant
