Default 245/50/16 wheel in a 16x7 rim

Hello, everyone Im new to the forum and have a question. I've searched for the answer but most of them have to do with with putting this size tire on an oem wheel. I'm having a discussion with my friend and we're wondering if you can put a 245/50/16 wheel on an aftermarket 16x7 rim, on a 93 sc300? And if you can do it, is there a downside?

Running the 245's on the 16 x 7's will be similar to the factory wheels and tires. I don't see any downside to using these wheels and tires. Overall diameter comes out the same, so your speedometer will still read correctly.

You will still need to get the correct offset though, that will rely on the look you're going for.

Thanks for replying. The offset is 43.
