Default Biggest car pc screen in SC?

I'm not even sure if I'm intereseted in doing this, as it's more of a curiosity at this point, but what is the largest touch screen I could use for a Car PC in the current radio location of my SC300?

Aww...you said the stock radio location. I was going to give a "pimp my ride" smart **** remark. I would say get a meassuring tape and measure the opening (non smart answer remark)!

Mine....

Your looking at a 7" touchscreen monitor in the factory radio location for my carpc. Almost impossible to use a larger screen if you plan on using the factory radio cage and front face plate to integrate with the face plate of the touchscreen monitor.

Just as a forewarning going the carpc route will not be a quick weekend project and your done. Mine took me 6 months to get to how it is today, the right software, right program to run my music, nav, movies, bluetooth, internet, etc. BUT.....in the end you will have the best setup with endless possibilities.

This is a 10.4" Touchscreen... (Never installed sadly, and long since gone/sold...)
Technically this is in the "current radio location" right?

CarPC setup and wiring are best left to the technical types, especially when dealing with a custom system. Lots of work-- there's just so many variables and a steep learning curve, unless you already know alot about computers, wiring, and have some experience with car-audio.

UZZ-TT's is the biggest one that I've seen so far.

If it counts, I used to use my 13.3 inch Macbook in my car. It was like the Fast and The Furious, and it was pretty cool in my opinion.

Amen to that brother, I'm still putting the finishing touches on mine 5 months later. Had it up and running but the computer was running like crap due to the amount I had to mess around with it to get it up and running, so I'm currently in the process of formatting it and downloading all the right drivers again. Then probably a whole other day to get Centrafuse, the sound, mic, nav and all the other things set up properly..

But ya, I have a 7" touchscreen in the stock radio housing, and I'm also sure the 10" one above is the biggest one you can fit in there.

at the same time dont think all 10.4in touch screens will fit..you really need to measure..
a 10.4" touch screen in a 4:3 aspect wont have the same dimensions as one in a 16:10 or 16:9 aspect.

I'm not sure where the finished/painted pics are, but this will explain it.
I think ScottURNot is selling it if anyone is interested (He has better and finished pics of it- PM 'em):
