Good question Camshaft. Jeff, you go with coil packs and distributorless ignition i.e. GTE to make room for that 76? 720cc injectors make for some serious fuel output. Great work!

Looks great Jeff, much respect brother. Question, I know you can use the HKS cam gears with the GE head if you're running standalone and ditching the distributor, I guess the same applies to the HKS cams? They will work in a GE head once the distributor is gone? I guess Lance prefers the 264 cam over the 272 for your application. You've got to be reaching the limits of what the GE intake will flow, no? Also, i'm curious what your fuel system consists of. Lookin' forward to those dyno numbers and timeslips...

i dont think shogsluv is reeally going that fast...im sure many of us would know about it already.....
as for mine...i scrapped the distributor......added coil packs to clear up some room and have the ability to run cams......as for 264 instead of 272....i made that decision...the 264 idles great and gives me a little extra ummmph....i can tell ya i have hit 8000rpm already on inital testing.....on a stock head with only cams added.....it scared me but held up great......the motor is really screaming...with an open atmosphere waste gate ...it just sounds mean man!!!.....
the reason i can run the coil packs and no distributor is the Haltech E6K .. it controls everything...also added a MSD DIS4
the HKS cam gears can be used on a stock 2jzge motor as long as it isnt a vvti motor...
the GE intake is a pretty large intake..actually bigger than the gte motor.....i dont think im maxing it out yet...600 plus then we will talk about maxing things out.......
as for the fuel...im running dual walbro pumps...dual lines....double feed fuel rail.....fuel pressure regulator..and 720 cc injectors.....
if ya got more questions feel free to ask....Jeff
