$1,800?!?! You could have purchased Junction produce seat covers and had them wrapped by baby Jesus for the same price. Seriously, take it back and have them fit the covers correctly.
they are stating that the seats wrap was ordered from another company. that company says it is oem what they send the upholstery shop. the foam was bad is the reasoning for the 'pleated' / wrinkled look. to clarify the seats, headliner, new carpet=$1800.
leatherseats.com is doing a group buy @supraforums. The rep said he can get us a deal on 92-99 SC covers in sandstone (very close to the factory tan) and if theres enough interest he could do other colors like black
the thread is in the for sale section if interested
I see the look they were going for (kinda like something you'd find inside of a Lincoln Town Car), but they did not succeed at all. There is just way too much inconsistency in the fitment. Not only is it too loose, but some areas are too tight, and some are just assembled unevenly. It really is a terrible job all around.
The thing with upholsterers is that it's hit or miss, but in my experience it's been less hit and more miss.
