Default Scweet JDM find

I found this on VRMotoring.com: MINES tower bar for SC. I'd get it if I had extra money. I think someone should get this so we can revive the "My JDM Parts" thread.

Look at Mines site. You can still order a Mine's VX Rom if you have the money. The that bar is the bee's knee's.

Yea, I had a Cusco-blue-as well, just like this, but the base plates are different. I think MINE'S rebranded them after slight mods to Cusco unit.
ScottURNot has it now- not sure if it's going to clear the massive Supercharged V8 though... Mounting it reversed might allow it to clear.

It's steel, not aluminum- but I do wonder why the took so much metal off of these base plates on the MINE'S edition...

I remember i tried that, but the base's angle didn't match the top of the shock tower. nothing a few cuts and welds won't fix though.

Would this make any noticeable improvement in handling?

^, Not on the JZA80 chassis, not saying there is no improvement, just not as much as other cars. If you look closely at your engine bay you'll see why.

lol they could be made from titanium and I still wouldnt be impressed. 2 point strut bars like this dont work on this chasis. If it was a 3 point, then I would be impressed. But regardless, I am not worried about the bar flexing as much as the base, holy crap is it made from tin foil?

haha
