Winshield wipers wont turn off...

Hey guys im new to the sc forums and running into a few issues. I discoected the wiper fluid resovoir because it was clogged and now my wipers wont turn off while my car is on even when in the off position. Is this because my wiper resovoir is removed? Thanks any help is appeciated
