92-94 sc cornering light DIY.. Rough draft Feedback?
Items needed:
SPLICE

WIRE
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1963&ppt=C0335
PLIERS
KNIFE OR SCISSORS
JACK
SCREWDRIVER
10" SOCKET ( I think it is a 10")
Take two pieces of wire that is long enough to get from your side marker to your cornering light.
Then you crimp the light blue splicing piece on both ends of the wire.
Do this before you start, it will make things faster.
then Jack up the car, which is not needed, but make things easier..
First you need to take off the black mud guard that is in front of your wheel and behind your side marker.
( it has about ten screws )
Second splice your dark blue splicer into your red/white wire that is connected to your side marker. Then connect the light blue piece ( that is connected to one end of your wire) to the dark blue splice.
Third go to your cornering light and splice the dark blue splicer piece to the green/white wire. Then connect the other light blue piece into the dark blue splicer.
( MAKE SURE THAT THE COPPER IS SHOWING WHEN YOU SPLICE INTO THE WIRE. SO IT WILL GET A GOOD CONNECTION. IF YOU DON'T, THEN IT WILL HAVE A BAD CONNECTION AND FLICKER ON AND OFF. wHICH IS WHY i INCLUDED SCISSORS OR A KNIFE IN THINGS NEEDED.)
fourth cut the red/white wire right behind the splice for the cornering light, so when you turn on your turn signal it's not getting too much power.
fifth now try to turn on your side marker, then your lights. ( if all is good, then move the wire around to see if you have a good connection.
sixth, repeat on your opposite side.
ask away if you have any questions

If you don't cut the red/white wire, then when you turn on your turn signal, then your cornering light is getting twice the power..
power from the signal and power from the side marker.. this might blow your bulb with too much power, so cutting the wire makes it have a steady current at all times.
