window problem

Default window problem

my passenger window won't go down. but when i hook it up to a battery it goes down and up afte i switch the pos to neg and vice versa i have tried window switches from a few sc300 and still same problem it will only go up when the window is down so i dont know what to do.

Does it just go up when your wires are connected? If so it might be a break in the wires to your window switches.

As was mentioned, check for broken/frayed wires in the crotch of the door (hinge area) and know also that, when you are dealing with a passenger widow issue, you do have to check BOTH sides for wiring and window switch faults because the ground path for the passenger window is routed through the driver side door and driver side window switch.
