I had 2 15" mtx's, but it all sounded horrible even with dynamat.. then I had three 12" alpine type r's... whichw as too much, then downgraded to 2 12" type r's, then sold those and got one rockford fosgate p3..
Need money and I sold that lol.. Now I got a 2nd job at best buy, so I'm thinking 2 12" kicker solobaric L7's?? I get them for super cheap and they sound awesome..
I'm actually selling a 2000 watt Hifonics brutus Mono Block amplifier.. Practically brand new and still have box..

I want a system also and I have all my speakers and amps stacked up in my room but im not worrying about that too much now. My OEM speakers thump like crap!

Thanks guys. They are 12" sounded good I also had 4 6.5 type r and they had a hard time keeping up
Spec were:
2 800 watt alpine mono block amps at 2 ohm
1 200 watt alpine 4 channel for the highs
4 6.5 type r
2 12" type r duel 4 ohms ran down to 2ohm 1 12" per amp
extra kenik battery in trunk with a cap

1200w-x2(2400w total, but I can go 1200w higher) @ 2ohm per sub, 400w with the highs in-cabin..and hit hard enough to lift the sunroof with sub at -18 and bass at -10..any higher I have to open the trunk cause it starts to bend, and makes me nervous with the sunroof shaking
That looks really clean. How does the Type R sound compared to something like the Rockford P3 or the Kicker L5?
