If you remove the trim ring around the keyhole in the dash, then you can start the car (from what I can remember). For the trunk, just use the keyless entry.
Yeah, I could use it with the trim piece removed, but that's ugly.... I did see another one that claims to fit the SC3/400s :/

Then your key is the shape of a Porsche Cayenne.

That's kind of a gamble. If the key was actually designed to use on a 1st gen SC, then it could work on all the other cars. The easiest thing to do would be to ask the seller to measure the length of the key blade.

The one I got I didn't think about asking the blade length, didn't think it would be an issue
I tried asking ebay seller 1010keys (after seeing someone here mention them as their source) since they sell one just like mine for the length, they wouldn't tell me saying that it's the standard size and that no one else would have a longer blade for the flip keys.

From 1010keys: Because of the early model of your car there are no proprietary blade lengths the one shown is all that is available from any seller. It is that the ignition surface being depressed will only allow for the traditional shell with the curved head. Sorry.

Default Which headers for my '95 SC400?

Hey guys,

so i I purchased my SC400 in November, and have been doing nothing but bring it life one bit at a time. The previous owners neglected the car, leaving me to a sun damaged, ripped, and broken interior, along with some exterior imperfections. Now that I've put in a new alternator, drive belt, spark plugs and spark plug wires, oil, battery, thermostat, etc.. I've started to create a list of my "WANTS" for this bad boy. I've got everything pretty much mapped out, however, I stumbled across headers today and can't decide between PPE or SIKKY, any recommendations or previous experience's? Thanks in advance!

I lost a fender liner for the second time...

I also installed new coilovers today. I need to finish making the adjustments tomorrow and get the car aligned.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact the passenger side needs to be 10mm lower to make the front end even...

got about 25,000 miles out of some Nankang AS-1 255/35/R18 rear tires. Not bad with 3" drop or so and -3 degrees negative camber. Gonna replace them in the next few days or so with the same tires

Got my alignment dialed in and the car is finally ready to be driven with no mystery noises coming from the rear end.
