Supermade used t make clear lenses for our car for... I think it was like $600 for a pair, but they went out of business... 6 or 7 years ago? Maybe longer. They're pretty rare now and hard to find.

I paid $320 for mine. They were imported directly from Japan from a supplier I found long time ago.

That isn't a bad option at all considering it includes labor.

They were around $300-350 while still in production. They might have hit $600 years later due to rarity and demand.

You're right about them being hard to find now. I almost bought the set that are on your car, but you beat me to buying them.

Oh, I guess I didn't realize what the original sales price was, and lol, I got beat out the first time I tried to buy a set of Supermades, so when the ones I have now came up for sale I didn't wait at all. Of course it all doesn't really matter for the time being now that OGStatus is here making us clear lenses.

Interesting you still remember that I was the one to beat you to the sale though, I hope I didn't gloat too much in the FS thread.

More like what have I done for the past two days

empty everything out
gutted the trunk
sanded and rust protected the wheel well area
remove hood
remove the battery
pressure wash everywhere
install new plugs correctly
install new plug cables
before that degrease the engine
started her back up
place her on rollers and pushed her back to a corner.

I parked it in the garage permanently. Contemplating selling it and getting out of the game. I don't know if I want two RWD money pits anymore lol.. Someone make me an offer and take it from me.

You're lucky if that was only your second attempt. It took me 6 years to locate the lenses. I think there was a few other parts you beat me to buying, so that is why I remembered.

Replaced my engine mounts, front LCA and UCA arms. Taking it for and alignment tomorrow.

Are those OEM control arms? I'm wanting to change mine down the road since the ball bearings on mine are really starting to take a beating, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to shell out as much cash as Lexus wants for the control arms..
