Edit: I realized you may need more info than that lol. You'll need a pair of pliers and a pan to drain the old fluid into. Whether you have to replace the upper or lower hose, the instructions are the same. On the bottom of the radiator there will be a white plug that you need to unscrew for the fluid to drain. Take the cap off the top to let air in and flow faster. Remove the hose using the pliers or if its one of those crappy worm clamps unscrew it. After its done draining plug the hole again and replace the hose. Then like I said before, turn the heater on to full blast and fill it back up with the proper 50/50 mix of distilled water and Toyota fluid, or whichever cheap brand you choose but I didn't tell you to ...

Started my conversion of all things poop brown to black. Inspired by Slide400.
I will paint both the shifter and ebrake this week. Used Duplicolor fabric and vinyl. Really good stuff. Wheel turned out great but after driving for awhile I hated how thin it felt so I slapped on my cheap cover. Probably order a Carskinz in black.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to loosen the dash enough to pull it out just enough so I can paint it in place?

Loosening it enough to do what you want wasn't all that involved. Getting the wiring disconnected from the dash's back side to fully remove it is the most challenging aspect. If you can't find a picture thread, I could try and count/describe the various attachment points.

t2d2, thanks for the response. The only did I could find included pulling center console, removing steering column, basically pulling the entire dash and system. I don't mind digging in but would rather just do the minimum and move on.

I did my interior the way you are planning on doing yours and the only thing I painted was the dash.
I did remove the entire dash out of the car since I am **** and wanted it done correctly.
There are so many screws to loosen up so if you plan on going that route you are better off removing the entire dash.

Finally getting body work done. Big dent on drivers rear quarter, rust on windshield corners and lower rear of drivers door, removed awful aftermarket chrome body side molding and roll front and back fenders. Getting excited to see finished product! Will finally be able to fit my new tires and wheels on car.😜
