Kez, your car is beautiful, love that red.

I had to have the same thing done on my 1992 SC300, they converted it from R12 to R134, it stopped blowing cold. It was a shade under $300 with tax to have the a/c fixed. Thank goodness it wasn't anything like the compressor, I figured it was a rubber o ring or something that dried out and caused a leak, they said the kit they use to do the conversion has a bunch of new seals and o-rings in it to prevent the new refrigerant from leaking out, so far its held up for the past 3 months this summer.

Aron,
That's actually my red SC.

Good to hear your AC has held up with the conversion. Have you used your AC a lot since the conversion?

Fuel filter on the SC today. Hellish job. I think I could pee in the tank and she'll run. All in the skin. Longer job than expected. And still have the rough idle. Working my way towards the motor. Fuel pump next, the ignition coils, the distributor, etc, etc, etc. Still have the rough idle though.

Also got my cluster apart waiting for replacement bulbs.

No need to get re-married. This ole' girl is running me ragged.

Today I spent all day washing, clay barring, washing, cutting compounding, washing, polishing compounding, washing, drying and waxing my new 98 SC300.

Then I vacuumed out the interior, treated the vinyl and leather seats and ordered 2 tires for the rear TT MKIV wheels that came with it. Here's a pic for fun (previous owner took this yesterday):

reflectrix, got the idea from some vette forums, they think it works well.

The material is thick but needs air between the surface and the material so no adhesive spray is used to keep the material down only aluminum tape was used to help contour the reflectrix to shape

thinking about using some on the doors and ordering a bunch of sound deading thinking qmat to lay ontop of this stuff and for the roof as well
