Winterizing my 1992 SC400
My winter modifications to my 92 sc400 are finally done today. I removed my Extreme Dimensions Vertex style front bumper and replaced it with the original 1992 front bumper. To do this i also had to remove my 97 fog lights and re install the original cornering lights. This also allowed me to install the original front inner wheel fenders and splash guards which are a plus during wet winter weather. Then i removed the Bomex side skirts to give my car more ground clearance due to the heavy snow. Then i dented my 20 in Status rims that came with the car while driving one day. So i bought a used set of 17" American Racing AR95 Estrella wheels that came with R17/50/225 ZR BFGoodrich winter tires practically brand new. With so much extra room in the wheel wells, I did not have to raise the suspension. Now all that is left is working on the TRAC and ABS, which currently do not work. BTW any help on that would be great as I have no idea where to start. Thanks guys!

Where did you purchase these? I am looking at some on Amazon. wondering if the price is worth the quality.

Took intake off to see where the leak was. The according piece ripped into a fee pieces, so I used a random coupler from my rx7 and junks of rubber, RTV, clamps to get it sealed. Check engine light went out for about an hour till I got on it then poof they came back on. I swear some day I'm grabbing some 3" and 4" pipe and start pie cutting to weld up something permanent.
In other news, I had to drive to Dover (50 miles it so), after the long duration of high speeds (I hardly ever go over 50 on yr roads I normally drive) the wobble grinding got much worse. Good news is the gf was there and got to understand why u been complaining about it. So now I can put money at it next paycheck
I love delaware because stuff is so close together. When I lived in the south the closest parts store was 10 miles. Here 90% of any driving I do is under 10 miles (pepboys is .5 miles lol)

When I bought my car, first thing I did was remove the factory cell phone. By doing so the center console got three holes that allow change to slide under the carpet. So, today I removed the seats and console to get under the carpet. I found $53.87 in mostly quarters down there
Tried to fix driver seat but it still doesn't move

I went to a muffler shop today and had the resonators removed and replaced with regular pipe.. Still not loud or anything, it's the same at idle and has a nice refined V8 growl after 3k rpms.... It seems to kick down into a lower gear more willingly when I give it the throttle..
