Picked up a 2000 SC 400 at end of June. Now fitted with 19" Lexus F-Sport 'Forged'
Front 19x8 / 40mm w/ 245/35-19
Rear 19x9 / 40mm w/ 275/30-19
In case you ever wondered what that might look like...
Funny you should post that. I picked up a white '98 SC400 last week and am debating what to do with wheels. I think I'll go with black, but still undecided if I'll swap my current set over and paint them.
Looking good man...eventually I'm probably going to end up doing the full urethane kit myself. Btw shouts out to Irving and the APT American Plastic Tech crew for an amazing set of products that fit. #ProductsThatFit
No, but now that you mention it I should take some. A couple months back I took some shots of my car with all the lights on, so if I go back to that garage I can take the exact same pict again and compare to see how much more light comes out.
I don't think it's a lot more output, but the lights do look noticeably brighter as you look at them. This is definitely because the glare guards are gone.
Used gritty compound with a high speed buffer, I don't recall the details of the stuff, I can get them for you if need be. After the compound, I used banana wax with the high speed buffer to polish, then to seal I used the Meguiars ultra smooth wax.
installed the moogs front sway bar end links and got rid of this annoying low speed clunking in front that I had. pretty beefy endlinks too for the money
