Detailed and adjusted Tein coilovers one last time before parking it for a few months. Next time it comes out will be for rebuilding of the SSR Vienna Courage rims.

I PRAISED her this morning. Did something really stupid this weekend. Washed her and thoroughly and soaked the motor-like I always do. Usually, this isn't a problem as I run the motor while I'm cleaning her. But this time, I let her sit for the weekend afterwards while I used a RENTAL to run a road trip.

She showed her disgust with me by running amiss horribly for the last couple of days. Dreading the waste of a weekend day to pull wires and plugs to blow out the obvious standing water in the plug chamber, I started shopping around for plugs.

Started her up this morning and she purred like a kitten. A hot couple of days around here and a 100-mile drive to and from work as my faithful daily let her know I still loved her.

She knows who Daddy is. The SC is truly a great car.

Next time you clean the motor, just mist it down to get it slightly damp and spray a bit of concentrated degreaser around and use a microfiber to wipe clean. No more standing water in the plug valleys, or risk of pressurized water pushing into areas its not supposed to be in.

Surely don't spray the spark plug valley with water, especially if its high pressure you're using. I clean my engine bay overtime I do the car wash too, but I leave the spark plug valley alone, and do it manually if it's really dusty. I use a real engine degreaser and some mild soap to clean the engine bay all the time. Then dries it up by hand with a cloth.

Lip was only a month old and I could count on two hands the number of times I've scraped. But I'm over it anyway, I don't really care to have an answer for this. I'm going AC Shine sometime in the fall, and I'll forget this whole mess ever even happened.
