It does bolt up, But it's not really recommended, You have to nearly ruin a perfectly good lip just to get it to fit right, And even then, It still doesn't look as good as it does as if it were fitted onto a '92-'96 front bumper instead...Just my opinion.

I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason as to why it's referred to as a "92-'96 lip" instead of "92-'00 lip" LOL!

It will fit....after you cut the pre-97 lip in half, put a piece of metal in the middle, bondo, sand, filler, sand, prime, paint, and there you have it! Haha....not easy to find a pre-97 lip nowadays but go for it, you won't be dissapointed. Pic of my ride for reference.

Is it me? Or is the lip just not mount correctly on 97+ front bumpers? Peep the side of the lip and then the middle of the lip. ^^^

Looks like it needs some double sided taping or more screws in the middle.

When you extend the pre-97 lip you almost have to get it precisely done or else it will be a little bit off when you decide to mount it for real on the car. Unfortunately the passenger side for me is a bit off but my driver side is much better. Pic for reference.

Now on this other CL members pre-97 front lip on a 97 bumper, it came out perfect! Whoever did the work on it did an excellent job. Very well executed and perfect for our 97 bumpers.

I still think this is the best look for the 97+ cars since all that bumper is missing is a front lip and nothing else. But hey that's what is so great about CL....everyone has their own style for the same ride

You know Mike....I may have to take you up on that offer sometime when we get a chance. The lip doesn't really bother me, but if you have some ideas on how to make it fit better by all means I'm all ears

As we meet up more often over here hopefully we can work something out. Then when we do our shoot maybe we can fix it a little bit to make it right on the sides a bit more. Appreciate the help
