92 Sc300 compression but no start
i recently did a head gasket swap but after reassembling i am getting compression but no ignition, i bought new spark plugs and wires, cleaned distributor cap, replaced igniter/ignition switch, and replaced all vacuum lines. i just did a d.i.y. code read and am getting codes 14, 7, and 8. Anyone with any useful info please advise. Thanx.

I cant live without my sc!!!
after attempting to troubleshoot the possible issues i posted before, i have eliminated all trouble codes but i still cant get it to start. i have proper compression and my fuel pump and fuel pump ecu are functioning properly. i really am getting desperate now.

Code 14 is no ignition signal. I'm having the same problem with my sc400. You need to see if you have power going to you coil and igniter. If you have power to them then one of the two is the problem. If you don't have power to them then your into a bunch of trouble shooting. It could be your ecu (which is a common problem in the 400) or a bad fuse or ignition relay or a short in you wiring harness. Let me know if I can help in any way. Good luck and FYI this is a pain in the ****!!!

is this sc3 or sc4, my sc3 i had a problem when i did a tuneup it wouldnt start afterwards. I have an sc3 and there is a plug that goes in to the distributor whish is kinda hidden. make sure that is plugged in and if it is unplug it and plug it back in make sure its tight. hope this works for you.

i think i may have narrowed down the issue. i seem to have gas in my oil so i am gonna check out my injectors next. by the way does anyone now wtf the small circular filter is which is on the intake manifold located under the throttle cables? seems like there should be something covering it but i'm missing that too. and this is for an sc300
