Default SC300 "Super Charger" Kit on eBay

I’ve seen those little non-electric fans you put in your intake which are suppose to cause the airflow to spiral and bring about a better fuel/air mixture. I have no idea if they work. But what effect do you guys think this guy’s “supercharger kit” would have on our cars?

Thanks!

I found it! Let's see if this link works: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1845665819

It would be sweet if it actually worked but it seems a little fishy if you ask me. But you better be careful because "resaults varry" I wanna see what everyone else here has to say.

Gee, that's nice, 180cfm? That thing is a total pile of crap.

180cfm would provide nice airflow enhancement for your average Weedeater, but won't do anything for a vehicle that inhales much more air.

Just thought I'd add something so you knew....if you look at the picture you see where they put the fan?? Remember what our car looks like? Won't fit. Ive been custom building my intake for about two weeks now, and unless you put it after the air flow sensor....(which I wouldnt reccomend...ever...)theres no chance of getting it to fit. Even with a new cone filter, theres just not enough room....unless....you could take you headlight out....

That thing looks like it has a built-in propeller right behind the air filter.
Doesn't seem like it does much but spin when the air is going in.
Another useless toy, eh?

Actually, I checked out www.electricsupercharger.com and that thing seems pretty crazy.
Check out the demo video. That guy lets go of the intake and it flies.

That Eram says it pushes 750cfm. Would that be able to produce 5-15hp with a K&N? You guys have to see this though. It's not a real auction and the guy is warning people about those things.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1845877459 It looks like they're really for boats! lol!

hey actually we may be talking about 2 products here, the ebay puffer is indeed a total rip, it is just a bilge blower, maybe with the Attwood or Tempo name removed, dime a dozen at West Marine.

But that other one, at www.electricsupercharger.com , may be a legit device, even though it may not do much, the claims made about it are not sky-high. The video does show it fly out of the guy's hand, and what is that he's blowing across the floor? A fireplace log? Those things are heavy -

but boy is it noisy!

It only kicks in at WOT, your car would all of a sudden sound like a mosquito on steroids when you floor it...
