Well I'm going to order the lip sometime next week since I'm painting my bumper why not make the paint match perfect right? I was just hoping to see the finished product and how low it sits so I can match up my side skirts.

Pulled this off a thread a while back. I believe its an authentic 97+ wise lip but I'm not sure.

I did it but the top of my lip actually sits higher. Its sits right at the bottom of the lower grille.

Been wanting to fix and it and lower it but I have no ideal on how I would go about attaching in the front area.

Ill take pictures of mine later

yeah please take pictures i might be able to help you im thinking of cutting it in half then fiberglassing the gap then blocking it down so i use the least amount of body filler.

your are definitely have to cut it in the middle and extending it a couple of inches with fiberglass.. But the shape of the wise lip is pretty much the same as the bumper, it wraps around it pretty good

You are correct Sir. The blue one is rocking a Vertex lip, but it is custom made out of carbon fiber. Gold one is rocking a Wald lip kit.

If you can pull this off it should be interesting. Check your mounting points and you may need to do a bit of fiberglassing on the upper edge of the lip to match the contour of the 97 bumper.

Ok here are some pictures from my iPhone. This is an fiberglass replica that I got from Raceonusa. Had it cut in the middle and just extended it and screwed it onto the bumper. Cost me probably the same amount as the Big Win lip but I did not have to wait for it.

Well to cut up the bumper up and fit it on the 97 just sounds like too much work I would have to fiber glass stuff and fill a lot of othere things just isn't worth it. Plus the wise lip is already a lip all I have to do is cut that in half and fill it and also cheaper.

I thought somebody had already done this before? I'm probably getting all of these different lips mixed up though.

Lol, Guess the OP has the same name as I do.

Raceon did sell the lip, but it was for a 92-96 front end and I had this cut and extended for the 97+ front

Nice job there are some little imperfections I'm sure you can fix what part of cali are you located? I had no idea that the lip went inside the bumper by the grill area.
