I never knew the SC community was into rap like this. It's kind of cool to see you guys have good taste in rap music despite our different opinions.

biggie..another great lyricist ill give him credit all day long..better then pac lyrically
but i still dont think hes better then eminem

as far as proving it..i guess technically its all opinion..unless you really wanted to take the time and break down **** to syllables and rhyme schemes to see who's more complicated and meaningful.
Nas was good up to stillmatic? do yourself a favor and listen to his lyrics on any recent/past album...ANY. his wordplay is still extremely impressive..he does not conform to todays "flash in the pan" tone of music but his play on words and lyrical content is undeniable. One of my favorite unreleased Nas songs killing a track is where ya"ll at? check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rij0gU3vWiA

just to note, I am not here to convince anyone of any artists lyrical ability. if you don't know you just don't know..but for those looking to form an opinion on comparisons between artists,at least be familiar with their body of work before you do so.

I'm more of a Jaz-O and Jay-Z fan. There's too many good rappers out there for me to say who is the best.

Biggie is ill.one of the best ever PERIOD. but rest his soul the only reason hes the "best" is he was on top when he passed. personally Jay-Z is the best of all time long career, highs and lows and became global. NAS-JAY diss yeah nas killed him on ether but, that was a song dedecated to jay after the diss was started. jay had like 4-6 bars on nas on takeover. big difference. the rest was about mobb depp and rest of the emcees. jay had a diss back called supa ugly. but end of the day nas wanted to sign under def jam while jay was president. so nas won the battle but lost the war by signing. anyway off track with that said heres a SC near the end of the video of a super rare 1994 jay-z song unreleased @ 3:29-3:30.

Onyx was a great showing of the sc.
anyway enjoy insane hip hop before gay wayne came in and changed people's minds to what "hip-hop" is.

I agree with you on the Jay-Z/Nas thing. There were two SC's and an ES300 in the video.

Lol, that's terrible but awesome at the same time. An SC with a custom drop top in 94 would have been insanely pricey.

Yeah, that had to be crazy expensive back then. SC400's were expensive back then.
