Default Power Locks Acting Weird

So I went to lock my car today by pushing the power lock button as I usually have been since I've owned the car for almost a year now, and the power lock button will lock the passenger door but not the drivers door. The drivers door lock will wiggle a little bit as if it is struggling to flip over. So now I have to manually move the lock on the drivers handle to make it lock completely. Anyone else have this problem? Is this ANOTHER notorious problem with our cars lol?

maybe a busted clip or it thinks the door is still open and the key is in the ignition....

Sounds like the classic symptoms of a bad lock actuator. When you lock it manually do both sides require the same amount of force to move?

This exact thing started with mine last night. I took the door apart and it looks like the lock actuator is bad.

Damn it lol. How much does a new actuator cost and how hard is it to install? Looks like I may need to replace mine...

I've had a similar problem. when i lock the car from the inside and try to unlock it using the controls the passenger doesnt want to unlock, thus me having to manually unlock it with a key.
