i put on a new gates racing timing belt... the tensioner was a *****, along with the serpentine belt tensioner and timing covers
put on newly painted valve covers with new gaskets
and started the y intake..damn vacuum lines

today i spent the whole day installing a full system in my girls 97 sc300. I changed the front speakers to 6.5 components and the rear speakers to 6x9. I ran all new speaker wire from the doors and rear deck to the trunk to aviod the factory amp. installed a alpine double din, with 2 JL audio amps and 3 10s. this system came out of my is300. i dont no what it is about the sc300 but with the gas tank in the rear the system dosent bang like it did in the IS. needless to say changing the speakers on this car are not fun but i figure since i had the whole car apart i will do it one time and be done with it since these door panels are so fragil.

finally got the chance to get rid of the nasty bosch spark plugs out of her .. cant belive how much they affected the engine . also i put in my rewrapped supra seats and two tone door panels ...
