5spd Swap SC 400 Starts Today
I am starting my W58 swap into my SC 400 today. I have all the parts and am ready to go. Are there any areas of the swap that people would like a little more photographic views of? Red Phoenix has a great write up I don't want to duplicate, but will try to clarify if it is fuzzy in any areas for some.

CEL, I shlould be able to get that figured out. Once I am done and driveable, I have a very good friend who has his own mechanics shop and he is an electrical specialist. So should be able to deal with those gremlins and will post up solutions.
Location. I live in Fernie, about 10 hours from Vancouver, so I doubt you would want to make the trip.

Got everything out. Some of the tricky spots were figuring out the 3 bolts under the material in the bottom of the console armrest container. Getting all of the wiring unhooked from the tranny. Spinning the torque converter to get to all 6 bolts, (jacked up the tranny to open a space to get a socket on the bolts, and used a longish drift against the "fly wheel teeth" and dead blow hammer to spin the torque converter). Feeding the throttle cable down as I lowered the tranny, (tight clip on the back of the engine so I push-pulled until just the wire was at the clip and could get through the thin slot). Some other notes: needed 140 psi with the impact wrench to get the exhaust off the cats.
It was impressive the quality that goes into these cars.
Now I have to decide if I will try to put on my headers while I have the tranny out. For those who have put on headers would this help a lot?

Tranny in and diff out. Putting in a LSD 3.76 from an Aristo. Now to start working on the pedals. So far been pretty straight forward and any perceived gaps in Red Phoenix's ultimate thread is self explanatory when you get there. In others word there is very little to add to it and it has been a huge help. Thanks Red Phoenix.
Due to time constraints I did not put in the headers
