^ What exactly is the CEL? And is this whats preventing our 98+ sc4's to be converted to manual?

Oh, duh..

Is that something to do with why no one has attempted the 98+ manual? Or is it something else?
Which code is it throwing?

ODBII car is gonna take a lot of work to make it "right".

Good luck!

Installed the clutch and pedals today. I had a ton of wires and a module for the anti theft-remote car start in the way. Took me a minute to figure out what it was. I just slowly kept taking things out of the way until I had a clear shot at the clutch holes. I used a battery powered tight angle drill. Made for easy drilling. I put a roll of paper towels to hold the clutch master cylinder in place while I worked away on the inside.
Where did others locate the bleed line for the howe bearing?

can you just run the bleed line along with the feed and zip tie it off near the master cylinder?

Yea, mine has sitting up there for a month with no zip tie actually. Maybe I'll change that.

When I installed the clutch master I cut away the padding into a square shape so the pedal assembly would easily go flush against the firewall. Sorry no pic. With the roll of paper towels holding the clutch master in place, I was able to get the drivers side nut on for the pedal assembly,(not much room), then the other nut and the top bolt.

I have everything buttoned up and was going to wait till tomorrow to bleed the clutch. I was checking everything out under the dash and noticed that the clutch master cylinder had leaked a little. I pushed in the clutch and sure enough some fluid leaked out of the rubber boot. So I guess I have to take that out tomorrow morning and see what the #$&% is going on. I was all ready to bleed it and test. Crapola.
