TO Convert SC400 to 2JZGTE OR Buy A S14.5 with SR20
Well Guys,
I Love my SC and will never trade it in or sell it, but I have the itch to drive a manual car. I have all the parts to do a conversion ( Well I hope I do) 2ZGTE engine, 154 tranny, engine mounts, Intercooler, Hardpiping , Blow off, and engine wiring. The Only thing I dont have is to convert to Manual clutch. Let me know if I am missing any parts for the swap. So either I convert the entire SC to 5 speed manual with a 2JZGTE, or buy a ready S14.5 with an
SR20 as a third car.
SPECS OF THE SILVIA:
HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer
HKS boost controller
GREDDY intake kit
GREDDY RS blowoff valve
GREDDY intercooler
GREDDY Pully Kit
WALBRO fuel pump
NGK Sparkplugs
KOYO Radiator
BILLION radiator cap
NISMO Racing Thermostats
TEIN Type FLEX coilovers
ULTRALITE wheels
Z brakes and cross drilled rotors
custom catback exhaust 2.5 inch
NARDI steering wheel
BOSS steering wheel hub
Bride Brix II seats and seat rails
NISMO short shifter
NISMO shifter
ROCKFORD FOSGATE amp
PIONEER DEH-7800 head unit
ROCKFORD FOSGATE 4 speakers and 4 tweeters
New paint job
kouki rear lights
s15 front conversion
cwest s15 bodykit
seibon carbon fiber hood
I am having sleepless nights wondering what to do with this. Point me in the right direction

Umm what's with the bahrain plates dude? Is this some guy you found on the internet wanting to trade you this via an ebay escrow account?
If it is legit, I'd say both have their pros and cons- an s14 with an s15 front is a beautiful thing.... except I'm not a fan of that front bumper :/. But It's a close call- obviously the SC is more luxury than race car- but what are you really after?

its soooooooooooooooooooo hard for me to say the Silvia when i got an SC but bro..... depending on what your doing and wanting to do, i would say...
Silvia: sporty, fast as hell, drifts better, cheaper parts....cheap insurance
SC: Classier, smoother, less flashy, Fast as hell, tough to drift but doable, expensive parts....$$ insurance
you weigh the options...
but im a suckaer for the silviaS!

So you really want to buy a done car? someone else built with their own style?... everywhere you go its going be OH thats "the past owners car".. never your car. That 240 is very nice, but I still say since u have almost all the parts swap your sc400. The sc400 will also cost more to do compare to a 240. So compare your $$$ you can put into your project.

i would keep the SC. yes it easier to drift a silvia, but how often are you going to be drifting?., the silvia is a bit more sporty, but it gives the boy racer look that cops are attracted to.

iam going to do a 1jz swap. iam going to KEEP BOTH. the silvia although a 4 bangger is way lighter and nimbler than the soarer. but if you want more hp per dollar then you got the jz. life is 2 short. if you can afford it get it and have 2.
