Hey guys does anyone here know of a company which makes a deep dish wood grain steering wheel? I looked at nardi and they only make the flat style wheel. Also what steering wheels are you guys running? Any pics?

Just food for thought: a dear friend of mine had a Nardi/Personal Group steering wheel similar to that one above in his daily driver. He was involved in an accident, the wheel bent and broke in to raw edges at the spokes, and it tore across his face from temple to throat. Thankfully he survived, but the scarring is very real. It is my understanding that the metals used in off-road applications are meant to be soft and break, to dampen the momentum on impact.

I'm with you on that one. Having steering wheel with no airbag on daily driver is just plain stupid. (IMO those steering wheels look so ugly, how can you like something like that? but that's just my opinion).

It's not mine, and I don't know the details.

Chicks dig scars.

Because the tan pillow looking thing in my 1992 is also uglier than heck.

Plus helmet plus hans device...

An airbag is cheaper, easier, and better looking in a street car. Again one of these dumbass mods that sacrifice safety for looks (I'm on a personal campaign against stretched tires too haha)

This would be mine for now, it's a 350mm nardi. I don't know why it turned out red, stupid iphone.

However, I WOULD NOT recommend this for a daily, as the airbag module was taken out before I bought the car and I already had the wheel so it was a cheap option. I just don't have enough money now to get a whole new airbag system at the moment; including driver, passenger, everything.

But the wheel is awesome I will say. It's tighter than the stock wheel for sure and has a nice feel with the indentions on the back.
