THIS IS SC --- why we love, and live it
I'm sure this has been posted before but I just came across it, and for the new folks and old folks alike, i feel it is a great watch.
more importantly, with all this bickering and arguing spreading around the threads these days about what style is best, and how the SC is now a civic, that it isnt a luxury car anymore simply because it can be had at a cheap price, or whatever the silly notion, just put yourself back a mere 18 years and watch this clip.
The Soarer.... the SC.... In my opinion, it remains beautiful, still rivaling newer coupes and luxury cars alike on the road today. though the verbatum meaning of the word can be argued and objected, i truly believe that the SC is Timeless...
So, Let's all take a step back, stop with all the fuss, and get back to the roots of our culture:
working on, restoring, building, dressing, and ultimately appreciating the R&D and dedication that went into the creation of our beautiful cars, keeping it in mind always as we all pursue our INDIVIDUAL expressions of "the perfect SC"

***EDIT***
going to consolidate all the cool TV spots/ads here as well.

^^ many of the worlds greatest art, music, and people do no gain recognition until they are dead or long since created.
But I think the SC was pretty popular, but being that it came with a starting price tag of 45-60k it was out of reach for many people. which is why it is more popular now. and deservedly so.
i dunno Vadim, perhaps you need to get back in a BMW. :P I've driven a lot of cars including bmws, and the SC has been the most enjoyable in all aspects. its true what they say... when you sit in it, you feel like you belong there. when you see it, you want to drive it, to look at it or touch it. and if you are so lucky to find a 5 speed... then what more can you ask for?! Once we move again and get settled, I'm definitely picking up another SC.

I STILL like the Legend coupe, or 91-95 Legend period better. Thats another one that was before it's time IMO. Loved the video, and the SC is great. But Legends have always made me drool since I was in college.

Nope, not kidding at all. I'm sure it won't be popular on a Lexus forum, but given the choice in 1995 or today between any SC and a 6 speed Legend coupe I'd take the Legend EVERY time. Not a dis to the SC, I just like the big body feel of the Legend and always have. I actually sold a black on black 94 6 speed GS 4 door Legend a couple weeks after I got my SC, but it was because it needed more work than I was willing to put into it. Looking at another 94 6 speed GS right now.
To each his own I guess, which is why opinions are like bungholes.
