Default Calling all SC300 / SC400 / Soarers with Aftermarket Subs!! :)

Hey guys,

I'm working on my sound system with my buddy Clean400 and since the day we started re-doing the entire system, we've realized that NOTHING is drop-in.

The 6.5" Speaker adapters off ebay are COMPLETE garbage, we ended up making our own with MDF board and we'll scan + upload the image to scale for you guys to print out in case you want to tackle this and save yourselves some valuable time.

We're at the subwoofer stage now and Clean400 bought a 10" Pioneer Shallow free-air sub to mount in the stock location but it didn't fit because of the unique design of the magnet.

TO THE POINT: LIST YOUR SUBWOOFER THAT YOU ARE USING, ALONG WITH A PICTURE

POST A PICTURE HOWEVER YOU MOUNTED THEM
I'm sure a lot of SC owners want to see how creative we can be when mounting these things
Stock / Custom! Post it up!

We'll be posting pictures soon

Are these requesting pics in the stock spot? Cause I know of a few people who have put aftermarket subs in the trunk. I can relate to the feeling of the system and having NOTHING fit right.

I think hes referring to the "stock" spot?

My SC came with an AMP in the back with a wire ready for a sub, but I'll check the stock spot to see if its aftermarket during the weekend.

I'm talking HOWEVER lol.

Our trunks are tiny, most of us would want to use the stock location, but I've seen some pretty creative things on CL. I just want all of them to be in one thread

Image Dynamics ID10. Cut the ring off the factory sub and reuse it to mount an aftermarket 10" sub.

Did you hook up an aftermarket amp to your sub? If so, how does it sound?
