Unhappy Switched to supra TT suspension. Car sits higher?

I switched out my stock suspension a while ago, and went with a used TT stock suspension setup with 20kish miles. The stock tt suppose to give you a slightly lower drop 1/2". The rear looks lower, but the front is higher, than stock sc height. Does the suspension, even used have to still settle?

thx

I notice this happens with the sc300. For those who did cut the front spring, how much did you cut? 1'', 1.5'', 2''

I installed TT struts made by Bilstien. I have been using Bils since before most of you were born (that doesn't make me smart) and these are the first that have not left me ecstatic. These things are harsh in town but they are a dream at 70 in a 35mph off ramp or at 130 where the "smoothest" freeway can feel bumpy at 80. I tried some sacked TT springs to see if they would pass and the ar was slammed, sorta, at least by my standard. Road rough, too. My cure was to order a Tien spring for the TT. It was one of two options and the other Tien lowered me 2.5 inches and was a stiffer spring and the one I selected lowered the TT 1 inch. So adding the1 inch to the 1/2 that a TT spring is supposed to lower a SC400. Didn't work out that way fo me. My front was raised a couple inches and the rear was down. Can we say "California tilt"? Really old term.

I was stuck with a pile of parts on my car and I was not a happy camper.

THE FIX AND WIN! The Bils have a bottom spring perch that slides down over the shock body. I bought those "adjustable perch" deals for Coil-Over shocks. The Bil perch would not fit over the adjusters so I had the aluminum perches reamed out to sit on the screw up-down perches. HAPPY CAMPER AGAIN.

I am clueless about "why". Tien is a first rate shop and I believe they told me what the "knew".

HTH

John
